A most ATYPICAL survey

This is definitely a DIFFERENT kind of survey! It seems rather melancholy, though. I am having a great time with the LORD right now. Things are not easy, but I'm not "down" at all. God is awesome and I'm enjoying the process! That said, here's the survey:

1) Something you wish your mother or father had warned you about:
Neither of them had the wisdom to share, unfortunately

2) Something that's holding you back from achieving your dreams:
Nothing, I am on my way

3) Something you think you could win an award for:
Singing (I have)

4) Something you fear more than anything:
I don't know... I have a reverential fear of God. But the idea of going through a divorce makes my stomach turn.

5) Something you wish people would understand:
Jesus is who He says He is, no matter what "church people" do

6) Something that keeps you going everyday:
Jesus Christ

7) Something amazing that happened last summer:
WOW! Last summer was not a fun time. I did learn that I really enjoyed teaching.

8) Something you hate that people say:
"I'm sorry, but..." --> If you have the "but" in there, you aren't really apologizing. You are justifying what you did. It's a waste of breath. It is insincere.

9) Something you refuse to pay money for:
an imitation of something else

10) Something you wish you could have told that person that you never saw again:
The Gospel

11) Something that really stands out about last year:
2 things stand out:
how much God did in my heart and
Finding out how awesome she is!

12) Something you like that everyone else thinks is weird:
I really enjoy the little "imperfections" in the people that I love.

13) Something that makes you laugh every time it happens:
It doesn't take that much to make me laugh, seriously!

14) Something that makes the problems in your life not seem so bad:
Heaven's Mentality (not the CD, the mindset)

15) Something you listen to when you're in a really good mood:
I have a WIDE variety of music that falls into that category

16) Something you do when you're trying to calm down:
Worship the LORD

17) Something you do when you wake up at three AM:
I'm actually up at 3AM more often than not, but... I pray. I read the Bible. I check my email and MySpace.

18) Something you love doing on cold rainy days:
chilling with friends

19) Something amazing that's happened this year:
God has been working me on receiving His love, to another level.

20)Something that you always run into/trip over:
Nothing. I very rarely trip

21) Something that irritates you more than anything:
Religious people who stand on tradition more than what is in the Bible and give no regard to the voice of the LORD

22) Something you're addicted to/can't stop doing:
love

23) Something you had to give up but didn't want to:
her

24) Something that really stands out about you:
I asked someone about this, "that I am gentle natured" - I am told.

25) Something about you that's like everyone else:
I was miserable and wretched when compared with the standard of the 10 Commandments

26) Something that really stands out about that Certain Person:
She is tremendous... you could end up reading all night.
Here are a few things:
She's preternaturally pulchritudinous
She has a heart that amazes me every time I catch another glimpse into it
She was willing to nag me, about something I should be doing on, our first date (which was EXTREMELY attractive to me)
She is very valued by everyone that knows her (at least from what I have seen).
She's very honest and open (but with increasing depth) and quick to acknowledge weakness in herself

27) Something that you say a lot that others have picked up on:
there are a few:
"It's not that serious."
"jahnke"
Dag, there ARE more, I just can't think of them right now.

28) Something that makes you change the channel:
something I don't want to see

29) Something that really turns you on:
Godliness

30) Something that really turns you off:
being religious, or fake

31) Something you wish you could change about your life:
I believe everything worked out for the best (so far). I believe all that I dislike at the present moment will be worked out for my good! I believe this because I know God. I love Him and I have been called according to His purpose!

32) Something you think about every night before you go to sleep:
I go to bed praying, and specifically praying for her again and asking how I can more faithfully walk through tomorrow than I walked through today.

33) Something that you don't think will ever change about you:
My love and passion for the LORD and others, especially those that I believe He has called me to.

34) Something about you that you think will soon change:
A lot --> Almost every area of my life is set up to be exponentially better very soon.

35) Something that broke your heart as a child:
When I was 6 my mother told me that she hadn't wanted me since I was 5 and I didn't "really" meet my father until I was 16 and he didn't want me either. He just lied about it.

36) Something that really sparks your interest:
The Human Body

37) Something that truly disgusts you:
religious people

38) Something you wish that Certain Person would see in you:
A man that she could fall in love with... Her husband

Chemistry and Physics

OK, so this quarter I am taking two accelerated Chemistry courses and a Physics course (I switched out of the accelerated version of Physics).

I don't know what to say. I feel like I should be studying more, but I also don't feel like I really need to. It is a weird feeling. The stuff we are going over in class makes sense to me, so I don't feel like I need to study as much as just reviewing the material (which doesn't take nearly as much time). However, I don't really trust how I am feeling about these classes right now. I had spent my entire college career dreading these courses... so much so that I may be a little paranoid about them. I understand, and I'm uneasy about that!

I think most of the problem is that I have no confidence in my natural ability in these general science courses. I am VERY confident about being able to roll through the actual doctorate courses, but these general science pre-requisites have me shaking a little bit. Having said that, here is the truth: God is in me, I am one spirit with the LORD (I Corinthians 6:17) and I have the mind of Christ (I Corinthians 2:16) and God is the "Wonderful Counselor" (Isaiah 9:6) and the Holy Spirit will teach me all things (John 14:26) and will teach me what to say when I am questioned (Luke 12:12). I have ALL confidence in God and His ability to enable me to understand and flow through school with good grades and understanding. I am so excited that God is going to allow me to be a doctor! I am looking at the goal (my doctorate in Chiropractic medicine) with anticipation, but I am not despising the process. I think school is going to be a lot of fun. A lot of work, but a lot of fun!

My goal is to get above a 3.0 this quarter and I am actually pretty confident about being able to do that!

AGAPE!!!
